E-training is one of the training tools offered by SIDF Academy through designing interactive training content using ICT and multimedia in order to support the training process and facilitate self-development of trainees.
Synchronous, Asynchronous, or Blended E-Attendance requires virtual attendance of trainees in virtual classes via computer or mobile devices to acquire knowledge and skills.
Definitions:
• Synchronous Training: A pattern of remote training in which the interaction between teacher and learner occurs simultaneously.
• Asynchronous Training: A pattern of remote training that does not require simultaneous interaction among parties of a training process.
• Blended Training: A pattern that combines synchronous and asynchronous training, using multiple channels of communication such as giving on-site courses in one of SIDF's Academy rooms, web-based communication, and in-person or self-learning.
Synchronous and Asynchronous Attendance and Blended Training Controls:
1. Hours of virtual attendance are equivalent to in-person attendance.
2. The minimum synchronous training hours must not be less than %25, for asynchronous or blended training programs exceeding one month.
